Our Story
Illuminated Architecture & The Art of Presence
Presence is the distinct energy that separates a crowded room from a connected one. Vibe Haus was founded by designer Krissy Barden to engineer that shift.
We bring the polish and precision of high-end New York City production to the intimacy of your private event. Drawing from a background of executing high-privacy commissions for the industry’s most exclusive clientele, we apply that same rigorous standard to your celebration. We understand that true luxury isn't just about the objects in the room, but how those objects dictate the flow, the mood, and the memory of the night.
We operate at the intersection of spatial psychology and structural engineering, crafting environments that do more than occupy space - they hold it.
The Social Hearth
At the center of every Vibe Haus installation is the Social Hearth - a magnetic focal point where the light creates intimacy and conversations naturally deepen. Our illuminated installations serve as the anchors of the room, inviting guests to stop, linger, and truly connect.
Culinary Curation
Design is the stage; food is the event.
We offer our installations as architectural dry-hires for your own catering team or as a comprehensive, full-service experience. For full-service commissions, we handle every edible detail. As uncompromising foodies deeply rooted in the region’s best agriculture, we prioritize hyper-local and organic sourcing to craft bespoke grazing displays - ranging from artisanal charcuterie to decadent baked sweets. Nick applies a chef’s precision to every pairing, tailoring the menu to your specific palate and dietary needs to ensure the flavors are as memorable as the build.
Where Empathy Meets Engineering
We work as a specialized team, merging the emotional with the tangible.
- Krissy Barden (Creative Director): With a dual background in design and relationship psychology, Krissy architects the "invisible threads" of the event. She studies the subconscious cues of a space - lighting, proximity, and flow - to design layouts that intuitively guide guests toward deeper interaction.
- Nick Fink (Lead Maker & Culinary Artist): A classically trained Chef and Master Maker, Nick translates that vision into physical reality. His culinary background ensures that every build is not merely a prop, but a functional stage, engineered to honor the service of food and the mechanics of hospitality.
Operating from our Long Beach Island studio, we handcraft every element in house to ensure absolute quality.
